Its cab, bed and mudguards look assembled from torn paper in pale and mid blues, with scraps of lettering showing through. Words such as "AMERICAN", "MIRACLE", "YOU ARE" and "Man" can be read across the door, bed and bonnet, and the wheels are dark brown and grey with small circular cut-outs.

The backdrop is a dense field of aged newspaper in cream and tan, headed "The New York Times" at the top. Small ads and headlines fill the page, including "DOBBS HATS", "Tiffany & Co.", "WESTCHESTER", "FOUR SONS", "LOWER SHOW", "TRAIL of '98" and "SILENT HOUSE". The yellowed print gives it an early twentieth-century feel, and the cool blue truck stands out sharply against the warm paper.

Where it hangs

Suits a living room, home office or a gentleman's room, where the blue truck can sit above a desk or leather chair. It pairs well with brick, timber and tan tones, and a black floating frame picks up the dark newsprint lettering.

At a glance

Type: vintage art print on heavy-duty canvas, giclee printed in Australia

Sizes: 60 x 42cm, 85 x 60cm, 120 x 85cm

Finish: stretched on a gallery-wrap frame, ready to hang (free), or add a gold, black, silver, natural or white floating frame

Delivery: made to order, 10 to 14 days, free delivery Australia-wide

Guarantee: 30-day money-back guarantee

Is this a poster or a canvas print?

It is a canvas print.
