Her bare feet rest on a wooden ladder propped against the barrel. The dress swells out behind her in a big rounded sweep of green, and loose cherries tumble down the side.

The background is solid black, which makes the reds and greens stand out. Yellow capitals across the top read "ELSEN KIRSCH PUR", and the barrel carries "ELSEN" in white. A row of bottles with the same label stands at lower left, one beneath a tap. A heap of cherries lies at the foot of the ladder. The bottom line reads "Demandez Partout un ELSEN".
