White roots curl out of a dark knot in the wood. Long, glossy green leaves sweep down and to the right, and swollen olive-brown pseudobulbs hang beneath the branch. The pale cream ground leaves plenty of space around the plant.

Two flower sprays carry the colour. The lower raceme holds crimson-pink lipped blooms with yellow throats and white centres, set among yellow-green petals and buds. A smaller spray at the top has pink and yellow flowers. Below, small capitals read "GALEANDRA BAUERI", with fine publisher lettering beneath and a plate number at top right, in a nineteenth-century scientific plate style.

Where it hangs

Suits a living room, bedroom or home office, where the pink and green read well against soft neutral walls. It pairs with other botanical plates in a gallery grouping. A natural or white floating frame keeps the pale ground light, while black adds contrast.

At a glance

Type: vintage art print on heavy-duty canvas, giclee printed in Australia

Sizes: 42 x 60cm, 60 x 85cm, 85 x 120cm

Finish: stretched on a gallery-wrap frame, ready to hang (free), or add a gold, black, silver, natural or white floating frame

Delivery: made to order, 10 to 14 days, free delivery Australia-wide

Guarantee: 30-day money-back guarantee

<details>
Is this a poster or a canvas print?

It is a canvas print.
