Long, wavy auburn hair falls past her waist and is tucked with small white and peach water lilies. A matching flower crown sits on her head, and a coral-coloured necklace circles her throat.

Across the top, curved black lettering reads "Mermaid Bath Salts" against a pale blue sky and a flat turquoise sea. Her tail is green-blue and scaled, curling down over the steps at the bottom. The stone is a creamy beige with scrolled ornament, and the soft colours and chromolithograph look suggest a late Victorian or Edwardian advertisement.

Where it hangs

Suits a bathroom, bedroom or beach house, where the turquoise sea and the creamy stone sit well with white tiles or timber. It also works in a girl's room.
