His bald, round head is in profile, with a pointed nose and a small black eye. His body is built from sharp black and white shapes: a black jacket, white shirt front and long white trousers, all cast in a diagonal that ends at two soles-up shoes.

He balances a red tray holding a dark Picon bottle and a stemmed glass of red drink, while his other hand grips a clear soda bottle. A red block runs along the base with "PICON" in large white capitals with a navy shadow. Above it a smaller panel reads "L'APÉRITIF AMER". A tiny signature sits at top left.

Where it hangs

Suits a dining room, kitchen or home bar, where the orange and red pick up warm timber and terracotta.
