The flowers get larger and more spaced out toward the bottom edge.

On the upper left, a cluster of weathered stone houses with red-tiled roofs sits on a rise, flanked by two rounded pines and a dark cypress. To the right, rocky hills glow in gold and purple under a pale apricot dusk sky. Two more cypress trees stand against the cliff. The colours are warm and saturated, with a signature at the lower left.

Where it hangs

Suits a living room, dining room or hallway where the red poppies can pick up cushions or a rug.
