Its trunk curls up and holds a small glass of red wine or rum. A red cloth with ruffled edges is draped over its back and spills down both sides.

A stack of tall bottles is piled in a pyramid on the elephant's back, each with a gold and cream label showing a small rider emblem. At the top sits a figure in a green tunic and yellow turban, one arm raised and a red-tipped spear in the other. Gold capitals at the bottom read "RHUM St. GEORGES", with a red signature at the top left. The flat colour and bold lettering give it an early twentieth-century advertising feel.

Where it hangs

The saturated red against near-black suits a dining room, a home bar or a gentleman's room, and it works well over a sideboard. Pair it with dark timber or leather. A gold floating frame picks up the lettering, while black keeps the background deep.

At a glance

Type: vintage art print on heavy-duty canvas, giclee printed in Australia

Sizes: 42 x 60cm, 60 x 85cm, 85 x 120cm

Finish: stretched on a gallery-wrap frame, ready to hang (free), or add a gold, black, silver, natural or white floating frame

Delivery: made to order, 10 to 14 days, free delivery Australia-wide

Guarantee: 30-day money-back guarantee

<details>
Is this a poster or a canvas print?

It is a canvas print.
