The tank carries the words "Plastic Lifetime", a small red mudguard shows "5¢", and the seat is a curved strip of gold. The engine is a cluster of grey and silver cut-out pieces between two spoked wheels.

Behind the bike, columns of aged newspaper run edge to edge in cream and tan. The masthead of The New York Times sits at the top left, with a headline about an oil inquiry and Sinclair bonds beneath it. Advertisements for Wall St. Grays, Frigidaire and Westchester appear around the frame, giving the collage a 1920s newsprint feel.

Where it hangs

Suits a living room, home office or a gentleman's room, where the red bike can anchor a wall of neutral tones. It pairs well with leather, timber and brass. A black floating frame sharpens the red, while gold picks up the seat.

At a glance

Type: vintage art print on heavy-duty canvas, giclee printed in Australia

Sizes: 60 x 42cm, 85 x 60cm, 120 x 85cm

Finish: stretched on a gallery-wrap frame, ready to hang (free), or add a gold, black, silver, natural or white floating frame

Delivery: made to order, 10 to 14 days, free delivery Australia-wide

Guarantee: 30-day money-back guarantee

<details>
Is this a poster or a canvas print?

It is a canvas print.
