The body is built from loose washes of cobalt blue, teal and sage green, with darker pooled pigment along the back and tail where the colour settles.

Fine dark pencil-like lines pick out the eye, jaw, toes and ridged back, while the rest stays soft and bleeding. Flecks of green and blue spatter the pale cream paper, and a patch of amber and ochre wash sits beneath the belly like warm ground. A small signature sits at lower right.

Where it hangs

Suits a living room, home office or gentleman's room where a cool blue-green accent helps. It pairs well with natural timber, tan leather and cream walls. A natural or black floating frame keeps the pale paper clean, while gold picks up the amber wash.

At a glance

Type: animal art print on heavy-duty canvas, giclee printed in Australia

Sizes: 8 sizes, 60 x 40cm up to 200 x 135cm

Finish: stretched on a gallery-wrap frame, ready to hang (free), or add a gold, black, silver, natural or white floating frame

Delivery: made to order, 10 to 14 days, free delivery Australia-wide

Guarantee: 30-day money-back guarantee

<details>
What size should I choose?

60 x 40cm up to 200 x 135cm. 60 x 90 or 75 x 100 cm suits most walls above a sofa, console or bed; 100 x 150 cm and up make a statement on a feature wall. Size guide | Which size?

</details>
<details>
Is it a photo print or a canvas?

It is printed on heavy-duty canvas with archival inks and stretched over a timber frame, so it hangs like a painting with no glass and no glare, and it suits rooms where glass would fog or glare, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

</details>
<details>
Does it come ready to hang?

Yes.
