The coat is drawn in fine pen lines and dense black spots, and the long tail hangs down to a dark-tipped end. It stands on a low mound of scratchy grass and loose earth.

The oval is surrounded by a heavy baroque frame in near-black brown, crowded with scrolls, shells and pierced curls, with a beaded inner edge. Behind it the whole sheet is a worn tangerine orange, with creases, mottling and darker patches at the edges like old paper. There is no lettering anywhere on the print.

Where it hangs

Suits a living room, home office or hallway where a strong orange accent is wanted. It pairs well with dark timber, tan leather and black metal. A black floating frame follows the ornate border, while gold picks up the warm paper tone.

At a glance

Type: vintage art print on heavy-duty canvas, giclee printed in Australia

Sizes: 42 x 60cm, 60 x 85cm, 85 x 120cm

Finish: stretched on a gallery-wrap frame, ready to hang (free), or add a gold, black, silver, natural or white floating frame

Delivery: made to order, 10 to 14 days, free delivery Australia-wide

Guarantee: 30-day money-back guarantee

<details>
Is this a poster or a canvas print?

It is a canvas print.
