About Abstract Tribeca IV
A single continuous black line loops and crosses over a plain white ground, tracing open ovals at the top right and a long petal shape that swings down the right side. Where the line folds at lower left it thickens into a solid charcoal form, curved like a horseshoe with a white gap at its centre. In the middle, the crossing lines enclose a wedge of mustard yellow above a larger rust brown block, the two colours meeting on a clean diagonal edge.
The surface is flat and even, with crisp inked edges and no shading or texture, so the contrast sits entirely in the line weight and the three solid colours. A small signature mark appears at the lower left. The character is calm and graphic: a spare, balanced composition that reads as drawing and colour block at once.
Suits living rooms, bedrooms and home offices with white or pale grey walls, oak and walnut furniture and black metal fittings. The rust and mustard blocks pick up terracotta pots, tan leather and woven jute rugs. Hang it alone above a sideboard or pair it with another print from the same line series.
