When a pet dies, the photos on your phone suddenly matter a great deal. A memorial portrait turns one of them into something you can hang on the wall and see every day: painted by hand, in oils, by a professional artist who works from your photos to capture the look you remember.
We know the photos you have may not be perfect. Many families only have a few phone snaps, or an older photo from years ago. Send what you have. Our artists can work from more than one photo, and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible before you commit.

Priced by canvas size and the number of pets in the painting. Each extra pet adds $99. Pay a 20% deposit to start, and the balance once you approve the finished painting.

I only have old or blurry photos. Can you still paint my pet?
Often, yes. Upload the best photos you have, up to three. Our artists can take the face from one photo and the markings or pose from another. If a photo isn’t clear enough, we’ll tell you before you pay anything more than the deposit.
Can the portrait include something that was theirs?
Tell us in the notes when you order, for example a favourite collar or the spot they loved, and include a photo of it if you can. Your artist will let you know what’s possible in the painting.
Is a memorial portrait a good gift for someone who has lost a pet?
It’s one of the most personal gifts you can give. If you don’t have a photo or the timing isn’t right, a gift certificate lets them choose the photo and style later.
Which style is best for a memorial portrait?
Most families choose Realism because it stays closest to the photo. Impressionist gives a softer, more painterly feel that suits older photos.
How long does it take?
Allow about 4 to 6 weeks from your deposit to delivery, covering painting, your approval rounds, stretching and delivery. For Christmas, please order by 10 November.
