Each portrait takes 21 to 28 days, allowing time for painting, your approval and delivery. Short on time? A gift certificate lets them send the photo later.
Getting two pets to look at the camera at the same time is close to impossible. The good news is you don’t have to. Send a separate photo of each pet and our artist paints them together in one portrait, by hand, in oils on canvas or in watercolour, charcoal or coloured pencil on paper.
Two dogs, two cats, a dog and a cat, or up to four pets in one painting. Each pet after the first adds $99 in oil or $85 on paper, whatever the size.

Choose your medium
Two pets look great in any medium. Oil gives the most room, up to 100 x 150 cm; on paper, choose 60 x 90 cm or 75 x 100 cm for two full bodies.
Prices for two or more pets
The 2-pet column is highlighted. Size sets the base price, and each extra pet adds $99 in oil or $85 on paper. Larger canvases give each pet more room, so 50 x 60 cm or bigger suits two pets well.

Watercolour, charcoal and coloured pencil prices
Portraits on paper cost about 15% less than oil and come in four sizes. Each extra pet adds $85. They can be framed with a mat board and clear Perspex (wooden frames from $150 more), or ship flat and unframed, ready for a standard frame.

Do my pets need to be in the same photo?
No. Send a clear photo of each pet and our artist combines them into one portrait. Photos taken in similar light work best, but we can adjust.
How much does a portrait of two pets cost?
From $464 for two pets on paper (40 x 50 cm, watercolour, charcoal or coloured pencil), or $548 in oil on a 40 x 50 cm canvas. Each pet after the first adds $85 on paper or $99 in oil, up to four pets. See the price table above.
What canvas size is best for two pets?
40 x 50 cm works for two pets’ heads and shoulders. For two full bodies, or for three or four pets, choose 50 x 60 cm or larger so each pet has room.
Can you paint a pet with a person?
Yes. Our portraits can include people and pets together, up to four subjects. Choose the number of subjects when you order and explain who’s who in the notes.
How long does it take?
Allow 21 to 28 days from your deposit to delivery, covering the artwork, your approval rounds, stretching (oil only) and delivery. For Christmas, please order by 10 November.
