Why kids art is different

The one thing on the wall they actually study

A child looks at the art above their bed more than anyone looks at anything else in the house.

Nursery and kids wall art gets judged on different terms from the rest of a home. It has to be calm enough to sleep under, interesting enough to hold attention at eye level, and gentle enough that it does not date the moment a child turns six. Soft palettes, simple subjects and plenty of white space tend to last; busy themed prints usually do not.

These are giclee canvas prints, made to order and stretched over a timber frame with no glass, which matters in a room where things get knocked. Pick the size against the wall rather than the furniture, since a cot or a bed gets replaced long before the art does.
