About Amorphous B
A square composition built from pooled watercolour washes that drift across a white ground. A broad body of pale violet and lavender fills the centre and lower half, its edges scalloped where the pigment has run and dried. Dusty rose and mauve shapes press in from the top edge and the right side, one of them cut through by a small patch of deep magenta. Slate grey forms coil at the left, with hints of teal, ochre and soft peach caught inside the paler areas.
The character is quiet and loose: colour is allowed to spread, granulate and settle on its own, leaving hard rims, blooms and darker pools rather than drawn lines. Nothing is described or named, so the eye reads it as weather, stone or water depending on the light in the room.
Suits bedrooms, bathrooms and ensuites where the violet and grey stay soft against tiles and white walls. Works in a home office above a desk, or in a beach house hallway. Pairs with pale timber, linen bedding, brushed nickel and muted pink or grey cushions. Hang as a single square or with a second abstract.
