About Autumn Sun Rays
An avenue of birch trees runs down both sides of a curving park path, their white and grey-marked trunks rising into canopies of yellow and orange leaves. Sunlight bursts from a bright point near the centre of the frame, throwing visible rays diagonally through the branches and washing the far end of the path in pale gold haze. The bitumen path is scattered with fallen leaves, edged by strips of green grass and a small cluster of red foliage on the left.
The image reads warm and luminous rather than crisp, with soft flare, saturated golds and a sense of still, late-season air along a quiet walking track.
Suits a bedroom above the bedhead, a hallway where the receding path draws the eye along the wall, or a home office needing warmth.
