About Bike Parade
A long, narrow photograph shows thirteen motorcycles parked in a single row, all facing away from the camera so the rear tyres, tail lights and fuel tanks read as a repeating rhythm. The warehouse around them is drained to grey and charcoal: a concrete floor with faint painted lines, steel roof trusses overhead and rows of pale hanging lights receding into darkness at both ends. The only colour sits on the bikes themselves, with tanks and seats in deep red, orange, purple, blue, silver, white and olive.
Blown highlights from the overhead lamps flare above the handlebars, and the floor carries a soft reflected sheen under each machine. Tyre tread, spoke detail and exhaust pipes stay crisp against the murky background. The character is moody and mechanical, a garage-night scene where the selective colour makes an otherwise grey space feel like a line-up on display.
Built for a wide, empty wall: above a sofa in a living room, along a hallway, over a bedhead, or behind a desk in a home office. The grey warehouse tones sit well with concrete, black steel shelving, leather and dark timber, while the coloured tanks pick up red or purple cushions and accessories.
