A round bistro table sits at the centre of a square frame, drawn in the engraved style of an old catalogue plate. Its top has a patterned rim, and the pedestal base splits into three scrolling legs, two of which end in small seated cherub figures with fish-like tails. The grey linework is fine and dense.
Across the top a black band carries a cream ribbon banner with the script words "Bistro Parisienne", tipped with small star ornaments. Cane-backed chairs with turned legs are cropped at both edges. The background is mottled sepia and parchment, and a black strip of cream polka dots runs along the bottom.
