Two large black roses sit in a square composition, one at the top centre and one lower right. Each bloom is a solid silhouette, with thin cream lines tracing the curled petals. Around them are serrated leaves and curling fern-like sprays cut off by the edges.
The background is a warm cream with a faint woven, linen-like texture and soft grey-beige mottling. The black shapes carry a slightly worn, scratchy grain, so the print reads as a digital damask or textile-style design. There is no colour beyond black and cream, giving strong contrast.
