Your canvas is stretched on a timber frame with the hanging wire already attached. Clean, frameless gallery look.

A single blue bird sits near the centre of a portrait composition, its head turned to the right and its tail pointing down to the left. The feathers are layered in deep cobalt and indigo with faint lighter streaks across the wing. It is the only saturated cool colour in the picture, so the eye lands on it first.
Branches curve up from the lower left and spread across a pale sage and grey-green background. The leaves are rendered in a metallic gold with flaking, patchy texture, and some are muted olive green. The backdrop looks scraped and layered, with vertical streaks of white and soft teal. The look is a mix of painterly collage and gilded surface.
