Blue and violet flowers sit behind a layer of clear, frosted ice. On the left, several blue petals overlap, each with a dark purple centre. A larger blue bloom in the middle shows ruffled petals with fine veins and a deep indigo throat. The ice blurs the edges and gives the flowers a soft, hazy look.
On the right, a pink-lilac flower with five rounded petals sits closer to the surface and is sharper than the blue ones. A green leaf and a grey-green spray of foliage fade into the pale background at the top. Along the bottom, more pink and purple petals are cropped by the edge. Fine bubbles and scratches texture the icy ground, which is pale grey and cream. This is a photograph.
