A long timber jetty runs from the lower left corner toward the middle of the frame, its weathered planks leading the eye to a thatched hut built over the water. Bamboo posts with warm lamps line the walkway, and a second smaller hut stands further back on the left.
The photograph is taken at blue hour. Water and sky share the same cool turquoise and deep blue, with soft streaks of cloud above low, dark hills. Orange light spills from the hut and reflects in the smooth, long-exposure water, and a few diners can be seen seated beneath the thatch.
