A single large hydrangea head fills most of this square image, built from overlapping petals that curve and fold into one another. The petals shift between white, powder blue, mid blue and deep navy, with grey tones in the gaps. The flowing, smeared edges give the bloom a fluid, almost marbled look.
The background is a flat, mottled grey with faint leaf shapes just visible behind the flower. Two small silvery-grey leaves with fine veins sit at the base, joined to a thin stem that runs off the bottom edge. The finish is smooth and digital, with a strong contrast between the bright whites and dark navy centre.
