A blue patterned jug sits at the centre, its white glaze marked with loose cobalt strokes. Out of the top spills a mixed bunch of flowers: yellow blooms on the left, a purple-pink tulip, magenta and red spikes on the right, and a white daisy with a yellow centre. Green leaves fill the gaps between them.
Two yellow-green pears sit on the left, and an orange rests at lower right beside a small cluster of red and plum grapes. A rust-orange jug is half visible behind. Washes run into one another, with soft blue shadows across the table and a lot of bare white paper around the edges. A signature sits at the lower right.
