Cream and white roses fill a square canvas, each one built from thick, curled strokes of paint that suggest layered petals. Some blooms are bold and solid, while others are only outlined in thin white lines, so they recede into the background like faint echoes.
The ground is a mix of cobalt and sky blue with streaks of violet and lilac. Drips and vertical washes run down the centre, and soft touches of pink and pale yellow sit inside the petals. The look is loose and impressionistic, with visible brushwork and no hard edges.
