A broad face of pale, golden-tan rock fills the middle of the image, cut with fine diagonal cracks and ledges. Patches of green moss cling to the top edge. The stone is lit evenly, so the surface reads almost like beaten metal, warm and slightly glowing against the cooler colours around it.
Above the rock, a band of bright blue wildflowers sweeps across the cliff top in a soft curve, with dark green cypress-like trees rising behind and a hazy white sky in the top left corner. At the base, white foam and deep blue shadowed water run along the bottom. The look is a textured, digitally worked painterly image rather than a straight photograph.
