A portrait-format abstract floral built almost entirely from pinks. Thin, branching stems rise from the bottom edge, carrying clusters of tiny buds and a few open poppy-like blooms. The flowers are outlined in fine dark and white lines, so they read as drawn shapes over broad washes of colour.
The background is a patchwork of flat and streaky pink planes, from soft blush to hot magenta, with a plain salmon block across the top left. Small touches of orange and yellow sit in the petals and leaves, and narrow white gaps run down the stems. The surface looks layered and slightly translucent, like acrylic or gouache.
