A large pink peony fills the upper left of the square, its ruffled petals washed in soft rose with darker pink streaks near the centre and small gaps of pale background showing through. A single olive-green stem curves down from it, carrying a narrow cream-and-grey leaf and a closed pink bud on the right.
The background is a mottled pale sage green, overlaid with faint looping handwriting in grey-brown ink, including what looks like the word "Rabelo" near the right edge. A second, open pink flower sits in the lower right with a yellow-green centre, and a broad olive leaf tipped in peach lies at lower left. A pink wash bleeds in at the top right corner.
