Slender dark branches sweep in from the right edge of the frame, crowded with clusters of small pink buds and blossoms. The branches climb diagonally towards the top right and trail across the lower half, so the flowers are densest on the right and thin out towards the centre.
Behind them is a mottled surface in cream, beige and soft grey, with patches of rose pink gathering at the lower left. It looks like worn plaster or layered paper. Two small grey butterflies hover in the upper left, a quiet counterpoint to the blossom. The image is a digital blend of photograph and texture.
