About Brisbane River Wall Art Print
The Brisbane River fills the lower half of the frame, its surface almost flat and holding long vertical reflections of the city towers in grey, white and pale blue. Victoria Bridge runs across the middle of the image on slim concrete piers, with a low white CityCat ferry moored to the right near a terminal. Behind it the CBD rises: the dark tower of the Infinity building, a cluster of glass and steel office blocks and one tall pale skyscraper on the left.
In the foreground a strip of grass and dark rock rip-rap edges the South Bank walkway. The sky is filled with high streaked cloud that softens the light and keeps the whole scene cool and even. It is a quiet, documentary view of the city, with detail sharp enough to pick out individual windows, and the mood held in the grey-blue palette rather than in colour.
Suits a living room or home office with grey, white or timber finishes, and works well above a low sideboard or desk.
