About Building Silhouette III
A cluster of flat, overlapping triangles and wedges sits in the centre of a square field of pale timber grain, the wood figure and a small knot left visible around the edges. Orange and yellow dominate the upper left, met by a cobalt blue slab, a soft yellow peak, warm grey and olive wedges on the right, and teal, mid blue, charcoal and green shapes stacked along the base. A pale pink triangle and a mint wedge break up the darker lower half.
Drawn over the whole cluster is a thin white outline that steps and zig-zags like a roofline and doorway, turning the shapes into a loose silhouette of houses. The character is orderly but playful: hard edges, flat colour and a calm natural background.
Suits contemporary living rooms, hallways and children's or teen bedrooms, and works well in beach house interiors where timber and white walls already feature. The square format hangs neatly above a sideboard, low bookshelf or bedhead, and pairs with pale oak furniture, woven baskets and plain linen in grey or mustard.
