Eight butterflies are spread across a square field of bright lime green. The largest sits left of centre with deep blue wings edged in teal. Others fall around it: a yellow and blue one at lower right, a black and white one with yellow underwings at upper right, and a tiny purple and blue one at the right edge.
The background is flat and slightly streaky, with faint vertical brush-like texture that gives it a soft, uneven glow from yellow-green to deeper green. Each butterfly is drawn in fine detail like a natural history illustration, with visible veins, antennae and wing patterns. Large areas of empty green leave plenty of space around each insect.

My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
