About Calm Ambiance
A stone-paved path curves up the lower right corner, its flagstones painted in warm terracotta and ochre with the joins scratched in. Low rendered walls along the path carry banks of pink, red and violet blossom, laid on in small loaded dabs. Beyond the wall the water spreads out in bands of turquoise and pale blue, broken by a white sloop with a tall bare mast and two smaller sailing boats further out. On the headland sit white houses with red tile roofs and a square tower, half hidden by dark green foliage.
The far shore fades into soft blue hills under a sky of thinned white cloud, and an overhanging tree frames the top right. The effect is quiet and sunlit, the sort of coastal view that settles a room rather than competing with it.
Suits a study or home library above a desk or a reading chair, and works in a hallway where the upright shape fits a narrow wall. Sits well with timber shelving, cane or rattan seating and cream walls, and picks up blues in rugs, ceramics or linen upholstery. Browse more Mediterranean art, landscape oil paintings, blue art.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
