About Cheetah Cubs
Two cheetah cubs fill the frame, heads pressed together, both facing the camera. Their faces are tan and cream, marked with small black spots and the dark tear lines that run from the inner corner of each eye down to the mouth. The eyes are amber-brown with dark rims. Behind their ears and along their shoulders, the long silver-grey mantle hair stands up in soft, wind-lifted tufts, catching light against a blurred, warm out-of-focus background.
The image reads as quiet and close rather than dramatic: no action, just two young animals leaning into one another with steady, direct eye contact. Fine detail in the whiskers, nose leather and individual guard hairs gives the print a sharp, photographic feel at larger sizes.
Suits a kids' room, nursery or teenager's wall where animals are a theme, and works equally well in a home office or hallway.
