A leopard's face looks straight out at the viewer from a plain white background. The rosettes and spots across the forehead, cheeks and muzzle are inked in black, and the amber eyes with dark pupils are the sharpest point of detail. Long fine whiskers fan out on both sides, a few of them tinted blue and pink.
Four flat horizontal bands of colour run across the head: purple over the ears and crown, mustard yellow through the forehead, aqua blue across the eyes and nose bridge, and bright pink over the nose and mouth. Small dots and splatters of yellow, blue, pink and purple scatter around the head, giving the wash-and-ink look of a watercolour illustration in a pop art style.
