Two large cream flowers sit on a deep chocolate brown ground, each with five broad, rounded petals that meet at a small pale centre. The smaller bloom is at upper left and the larger one fills the right side, its petals running close to the edge of the square.
Slim blue-grey fronds fan out behind and below the flowers, and tan, pointed leaves hang beneath each bloom. The surface looks scratchy and layered, with dry brush marks, small curved scribbles and patches of brown showing through the cream. The palette is limited to cream, tan, soft blue and brown, and the style is flat and graphic.
