Loose, full-petalled flowers float across a pale grey-blue background that fades from cloudy to streaky. A deep burgundy lily-like bloom sits at upper left, with a rust-orange flower cut off at the top edge. Two yellow blooms, one at upper right and a larger one at lower centre, carry thick, buttery brushwork.
Thin olive stems curl between the flowers, carrying pointed green leaves and several near-black ones. A round, feathery crimson bloom sits lower right, and a dusty mauve tulip shape hovers above it. Edges blur into soft washes and drips, so the look is painterly and textured, with visible canvas grain.
