Two large red poppies dominate the upper half of this landscape image. The left bloom opens toward the viewer, showing a dark centre flecked with yellow-green. The right one tilts downward, its petals folding to a point near the bottom edge. The reds are deep and saturated, with black shadows pooled along the petal edges.
Slender dark stems curve down to the lower left, tracing loose loops and spirals in thin grey and black lines. Small cream buds and tiny white blossoms cluster along the stems, with a few red buds scattered between. The background is a dragged mix of grey, white and warm beige, with thick, scraped paint texture and a faint signature at lower left.

My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
