A large deep red poppy sits on the left of this landscape image, its ruffled petals open to a dark, spiky centre. It stands on a thin straight stem that runs down to the bottom edge. The flower is rendered in tones of crimson and burgundy, so it reads almost as a silhouette against the background.
Behind it, torn horizontal bands of burgundy, soft pink and black layer like cut paper, with thin pink lines and ragged hot pink edges running across the top and bottom. A second, ghostly translucent poppy floats at lower right, its stem curving down. The look is a digital collage in red, pink and black.
