Shot from high above, this photograph looks down on a busy beach. Pale cream sand fills the lower left, scattered with tiny figures, towels and beach umbrellas in pink, teal, red, yellow and blue. The umbrellas gather in a loose cluster along the bottom edge, with smaller groups of people spread up the slope towards the water.
The sea fills the upper right in clear turquoise, fading to a lighter aqua where it meets the shore. A thin line of foam traces the curve of the waterline, and one bright white wave breaks near the right edge. Selective focus blurs the corners softly, giving the scene a dreamy, high-key look with a sun-washed, pastel feel.
