Stretched, ready to hang
Your canvas is stretched on a timber frame with the hanging wire already attached. Clean, frameless gallery look.

A single jonquil is shown from behind and slightly below, rendered in an X-ray style black and white image. Six translucent petals fan out around the centre, and fine veins run through each one like pencil lines. The edges are soft and slightly glassy, as if light is passing through the flower.
The ruffled trumpet sits at the centre as the darkest mass, its frilled rim breaking into inky black folds. A thick curved stem rises from the bottom edge to meet it. The background is pure white with only faint grey smudges, so the grey petals and black stem stand out sharply with plenty of empty space around them.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
