A round perfume bottle sits right of centre, its glass patterned with a lilac and white damask motif and edged with flecks of red, yellow and teal. A green collar and silver-grey stopper top it, and a curved tube loops over to a blue and violet squeezable bulb finished with a green and teal tassel.
The background is a creamy parchment filled with faint handwritten script and layered old postcards. Two small grey postage stamps sit at lower left, and a round postmark appears at the top right. The word "Perfume" is set in black calligraphic lettering with long swashes at upper left, giving a dressing-table, early twentieth century feel.
