A cream teacup on a stem foot sits on a matching saucer, shown slightly from above so the empty, tan-lined bowl is visible. Bold black peony-like flowers, leaves and trailing sprigs are printed across the cup and the saucer, with the largest bloom on the front of the saucer.
A dark silver teaspoon with an ornate scrolled handle rests inside the cup and angles up to the top right. Behind it, a charcoal and black damask pattern of faint scrolling leaves fills the square, with a slightly lighter panel down the centre. The cup has a soft speckled, aged texture. The look is a digital still life in cream, black and grey.
