A long exposure photograph taken at the water's edge at first light. Rounded, rust-brown rocks sit in shallow water on a pale sand beach, and the incoming tide has blurred into a soft, milky mist around them. A few smaller pebbles are scattered across the sand in the bottom left corner.
The sky does most of the work. A thin band of yellow and orange burns along the horizon, with red and pink above it, fading into streaked clouds and a deep blue overhead. A dark headland runs along the left horizon, with a few small lights at its base. The cool blue sky and warm rocks balance each other.
