A row of tall delphinium spikes stands along the back of a garden bed, their flower heads in blue, violet, pink and red. Behind them, dark tree trunks and branches spread across the top edge, with patches of warm amber light coming through the foliage. Small pink blooms sit among the green leaves beside the spires.
In front, a wide drift of low blue flowers curves from the right across the middle of the scene. Short flecks of colour build up the surface like mosaic, and the blue fades to white at the lower right where sun hits the ground. At bottom left the bed turns to red, orange and yellow, with a few orange poppy-like blooms scattered over it. The look is impressionist, with loose, broken brushwork.

My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
