Dozens of leaf shapes are scattered across a plain cream square, packed more tightly in the lower half and thinning into pale, ghostly forms toward the top. Each leaf is filled with a different patch of colour, so the shapes read like cut paper collaged together.
The palette runs from deep navy and near-black through teal, aqua and sage green to chalky grey and white. Visible brush strokes and scraped, streaky texture show inside every leaf. A few have small curled stems at the tip. The look is abstract and modern, with a layered, mixed-media feel.
