A pale sandy path runs from the bottom of the frame through two lines of weathered timber fencing and out to the shoreline. Tall dune grasses with feathery tan seed heads lean in from both sides, the right clump rising high into the sky. Teal and blue shadows streak across the sand in loose, visible brushstrokes.
Beyond the beach a band of deep blue and green water carries white breaking waves along the horizon. A handful of small white seagulls hover just above the surf. The sky is soft blue with broad white and cream clouds. The look is a loose, textured painterly seascape in sandy beige, aqua and sky blue.
