A long exposure photograph taken at dusk. The incoming tide has been blurred into a soft, silky blue-grey sheet that slides across wet sand in the foreground. Dark rocks and sea stacks stand out of the water, the tallest just left of centre, with a larger cluster of rock rising at the right edge.
The sky carries the colour. A band of burnt orange and yellow glows along the horizon, broken by long streaks of grey-purple cloud, and fades to pale teal overhead. A low island sits as a dark silhouette on the far left horizon. Faint footprints mark the sand in the bottom right corner.
