A loose, abstract landscape built from thick, flat strokes of paint, like those made with a palette knife. A pale cream sky fills the top half, with scraped, streaky texture. In the middle a soft grey-brown peak rises between two groups of trees, its tip touched with blue-grey.
Two thin, dark trunks lean on the left and centre, drawn in quick brown-black lines. On the right, a mass of rust, apricot and dusty pink foliage leans in, with a block of charcoal behind it. The foreground is a clearing of mustard and ochre grass, crossed by a pale grey path, all in muted, chalky tones.
