The surface is built from thick, scraped layers of white paint, dragged in vertical streaks so the colour underneath shows through in patches. Beneath the white sit repeating leaf and star shapes in indigo, cobalt and soft grey-blue, like a worn tile or wallpaper pattern seen through frosted glass.
Three pale cream maple-style leaves stand out against the pattern: a large one right of centre, a smaller one lower middle, and a faint outline near the top right corner. Touches of dusty pink, tan and deep navy break up the blue and white. The overall feel is soft, chalky and heavily textured.
